English story reading is an English drama interest course for students in Grade Three in our school. Students have this course every Friday afternoon. In this course, students not only read different kinds of interesting English stories, but also play drama games, enjoy English songs and learn English tongue twists. Sometimes students will have a stage to act out the story in groups. The teacher will give them ten or twenty minutes to do a rehearsal first and then let them demonstrate in front of the class. The other students watch carefully and quietly and then give suggestions or ideas. After all the groups have demonstrated, each group thinks about the comments and do a rehearsal again.
Students enjoy this course. They read for fun and act for fun. They are so happy!
